About Us

I have had the privilege of serving Priest River Community Church since 1997. I am ultimately responsible for all areas of teaching/preaching, evangelism, discipleship, administration, leadership development, staff oversight, counseling, ministries and missions. I arrange for weekly services, small groups, visitation, special events and pastoral care.  Our key ministries include a radio ministry (10 spots a week on KYMS 89.9), AWANA (For ages 3-18), Thrift store outreach, small groups and missions. We have a campus with four buildings and have expanded our sanctuary/fellowship hall to accommodate our growing congregation. I am blessed with a loving relationship with my church family and look forward to meeting you, should you feel led to join us at PRCC.

More Information

This church exists to celebrate God’s presence in worship; communicate God’s Word through evangelism; incorporate God’s family into our fellowship; educate God’s people through discipleship; and demonstrate God’s love through service.  The purpose of this church is drawn directly from the Great Commandment found in Matthew 22:37-40 and the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20.

We are an evangelical, nondenominational, community of believers grounded in the Bible as our final authority for faith and life. Celebrating a long history of well over 100 years, our church exists to ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO BECOME FULLY DEVOTED FOLLOWERS OF JESUS CHRIST in Priest River, our region, and throughout the world.

During our Sunday morning service we provide a children’s ministry called “Little Kids”, nursery to 5 years old. “Kids Quest” is for older children 6-11 years old. Check-in is in the foyer before service and kids will be released after worship. For kids staying in the service make sure to pick up a copy of the “Sunday Sermon Notes for Kids” on your way into the sanctuary.

At PRCC AWANA meets on Thursdays during the school year.  Jr.-Sr. High meets 3:30-5:00 PM and  Pre-K-6th grades meets 5:30-7:30 PM. There is also a Pre-School club called the “Cubbies”. Their space is limited, so call for availability (208)448-2115.

Clubs meet for an opening ceremony then rotate between games, handbook time, large group time for a teaching from the Bible and a closing ceremony for announcements and awards. AWANA events around the year include a Grand-Prix and AWANA games competition with other clubs.

AWANA is a global, non-profit ministry with fully integrated evangelism and long-term discipleship programs for ages 3-18 that actively involves parents and church leaders. Each week, more than 3.7 million children and youth, 470,000 volunteers and 260 field staff take part in AWANA in over 47,000 Churches around the world. Offered through local churches, AWANA reaches kids where they’re at and walks alongside them in their faith journey.

Join one of our weekly life groups. Gather with others in our local church body to study God’s Word, fellowship and praying for each other! The purpose of a Life Group is to grow closer in our relationship with Christ as a church family by living daily life together.
